FRIDAY FOUNDATIONS:  

Friday Again. Do you ever feel it's like it's just a repetition of "same old thing after same old thing" and you feel like you are losing hope that nothing ever gets better? Well, let me assure you of God's love and faithfulness for you and to you!

Life in this world is a constant barrage of bombs, missiles and weapons launched in your direction from the enemy, the evil one, with the intent of making you turn away from our loving Creator and Protector, Christ Jesus. Sometimes those attacks make us doubt the Lord's presence and causes us to question our Salvation.

I want to tell you right here, right now, to stop that "stinking thinkin!"  God loves you and He is here!  Immanuel! God WITH us!

Hear these words from Psalm 91:14-16 (NIV): "Because he loves me," says the Lord, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation." WOW!!! What a promise! And He is faithful to complete it!

If that doesn't strengthen your confidence read  the words of Jesus in the Gospel of John chapter 3:16-18a. And all we have to do is believe and obey His commands and we can boldly and confidently be assured of our salvation and His presence!

Jesus!   Immanuel!  God with us!

Blessed assurance!  Jesus is mine!
